I really don\u2019t care for the term bucket list. I\u2019d rather think that my wishes of things to do reside in a basket full of flowers. \u201cBucket\u201d is a little too rustic for me. I prefer something like this basket of cheery daffodils, each one labeled with something I want to do before I die.<\/p>\n
And there again, I\u2019m not really a fan of what bucket list stands for. I don’t want to have a list of things to do before I die<\/em>. That’s kind of morbid, isn’t it?<\/p>\n I\u2019d never heard<\/em> the term \u201cbucket list\u201d until that movie came out with Jack I don\u2019t have a very long list. That\u2019s because Jack and I tried to live large while we were out and doing things. While most of our friends were starting careers and settling down, we were flitting around the country in That\u2019s about it, really. I\u2019m not one of those people who long for a lot of things just out of reach. I\u2019ve lived a good life thus far\u2014different, exciting, and fun\u2014with the man I love. Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Of course, the movie was about self-discovery, and not just doing things you\u2019ve always wanted to do before the Grim Reaper says your time has run out. an eighteen wheeler. When our friends were older and dangling grandchildren on their knees, we were moving around the country chasing consulting jobs. We seized the day in every way we could. But there are still a few things I\u2019d like to do someday. (Someday<\/em> implies hope and not \u201cbetter hurry up.\u201d)<\/p>\n\n
